Locate Session-Specific URL(s)

This article outlines the different ways to find the unique URLs associated to your sessions. Common use cases for session-specific URLs include:

  • Sharing direct session links with attendees or speakers
  • Integrating with the LCvista platform and with Event Apps
  • Troubleshooting session access issues

Copy a Single Session URL

There are a few ways to locate the session-specific URL after logging in to your Admin Dashboard.

Method 1: Manage Sessions page

  • Locate the name of the session in the Admin > Manage Sessions list
  • Right-click on "View"
  • Select "Copy link" or "Copy link address"

 

Method 2: The session itself

  • Go to your home page (for example, contoso.cnf.io) where you should see a listing of currently active sessions.
  • Locate and click on the session you need to access
  • Sign in as Moderator or Check-in
  • Copy the URL from the address bar

 

Find and Download a List of Session URLs

This section explains how to download a spreadsheet containing direct URLs for all sessions in your site. At least one session must be created in your

This process does not make any changes to your sessions unless you upload the file again. You are only downloading information.  If you need to make bulk changes to your sessions, please see this article

Step 1: Open the Bulk Session Update Tool

  1. Log in to your Admin Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Manage Sessions.
  3. Select Make Bulk Changes to Sessions.
  4. Select Update Session Details via Spreadsheet

Step 2: Download the Current Session Data

  1. Choose the option to download the current session data.
  2. The system will generate and download an Excel file to your computer.

This file contains one row per session, along with multiple columns of session details.

Step 3: Locate the Session URLs in the Spreadsheet

  1. Open the downloaded Excel file.
  2. Find the column labeled Session Direct URL.
  3. Each row in this column contains a unique, direct link to that specific session.

Important Notes on This Process

  • Do not upload the file again unless you intend to make changes to sessions.
  • Editing the spreadsheet alone does not affect your event.
  • If you accidentally upload a modified file, session data may be updated if changes were made in the excel document. 
  • Best Practice: Save a copy of the original download before making any edits.
