Overview

This guide explains how to remove the license expiration date field from multiple users at once using the bulk upload feature in LCvista. This method allows you to update multiple profiles without manually editing each one.

Steps

1. Navigate to the Bulk Uploads menu.
2. Click on the Add New button.
3. Select Jurisdictions from the dropdown menu.
4. Download the provided template.
5. Prepare your bulk upload file by filling in the following columns:
   • Username
   • Jurisdiction - Use the jurisdictions tab in the template as a reference.
   • Original License Date
6. Leave the column labeled License Expiration Dates empty.
7. Delete all other columns from the template.
8. Upload the modified template back into the Bulk Uploads section.
9. Select Update Existing under the type of action.
10. Move the slider to Delete and Overwrite Blank Cells.
11. Validate the data and preview the changes.
12. Ensure everything looks correct and proceed to final submission.

Tips

By leaving the License Expiration Dates column empty and selecting the Delete and Overwrite Blank Cells option, the system will recognize the blank fields and remove the existing expiration dates from the user profiles.
