How to Track Video Completion with SCORM in LCvista

To ensure that video content within LCvista is automatically tracked for completion, it is essential to configure videos as SCORM packages. This setup allows the system to automatically record when a user has completed watching a video.

If videos (mp4s) within sessions are set up as Media instead of SCORM packages as the content type, they will not automatically report completion. In such cases, administrators have the option to manually mark users as complete. This manual process should only be done after confirming that the user has indeed completed watching the video.

For a more streamlined process, consider converting your video content into SCORM packages using a course authoring tool. This conversion will enable automatic tracking and reduce the need for manual intervention.
