Overview

This guide explains how to update user email addresses using the People - Bulk Upload feature in LCvista. Please note that usernames cannot be updated directly in the application; however, LCvista support can assist with username changes if needed.

Steps to Update Email Addresses

1. Navigate to the Bulk Uploads menu in LCvista.
2. Click on the Add New button to start a new bulk upload process.
3. Select People from the dropdown menu.
4. Download the provided template for the People bulk upload.
5. Prepare your bulk upload file by filling in the necessary columns, including the updated email addresses for each user. Ensure that you correctly match each email address to the corresponding username.
6. Upload the modified template back into the Bulk Uploads section.
7. Select Update Existing under the type of action to ensure that the system updates the email addresses for existing users.
8. Validate the data and preview the changes to confirm everything is correct.
9. Proceed to final submission to complete the update process.
