LCvista Policy: New Jurisdiction and Certification Requests

LCvista supports 1,100+ jurisdictions and certifications. We are committed to supporting the evolving practice and risk management needs of our clients.

As part of that mission, we welcome customer requests for additional jurisdictions and certifications not currently available within our platform.  Requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. While we aim to fulfill all requests, timelines may vary based on available resources and existing priorities. Fulfillment timelines may also depend on the scope of your LCvista agreement and are not guaranteed.

NOTE: This policy applies specifically to standard jurisdiction and certification requests and does not apply to in-firm requirement requests. In-firm requirements are unique to your organization and should continue to be submitted and managed directly through your Account Manager.

To uphold a high standard of service across our platform, we ask clients to consider the following policy when submitting new jurisdiction or certification requests:

Request Types Defined

  • New Requests: Requests to add entirely new jurisdictions or certifications are classified as new enhancement requests. These aim to expand the scope of our platform and services and are reviewed through our standard prioritization process.
  • Modification Requests: We proactively monitor existing jurisdictions and certifications for rule changes. Requests to further update existing jurisdictions or certifications are also classified as new enhancement requests and follow the same evaluation and prioritization approach.

Prioritization & Evaluation Criteria

All jurisdiction and certification requests, whether new or modifications, are reviewed and prioritized based on:

  • Existing Maintenance Obligations: Our primary responsibility is the ongoing maintenance and accuracy of currently supported jurisdictions and certifications in our system, with regulated jurisdictions and certifications prioritized over non-regulated. Each request undergoes evaluation with consideration for its broader impact on all clients.
  • Request Volume and Delivery Considerations: All requests are evaluated within the context of overall delivery capacity and active client demand. When multiple requests are submitted concurrently, LCvista may prioritize, phase, or defer work to align with delivery capacity and business priority to meet the needs of all our clients. Customers may request accelerated delivery beyond our standard prioritization process in exchange for an acceleration fee. Acceleration is dependent on resource availability.

Timeline Transparency

  • Due to business demands and applicable deadlines, LCvista cannot guarantee immediate implementation of new or modified jurisdiction or certification requests.
  • We strive to keep clients informed of progress and provide status updates as appropriate.
  • Implementation timelines may vary depending on request complexity, current development priorities, and whether additional development scoping or approvals are required.

A Shared Commitment to Quality

Our jurisdiction and certification libraries are the trusted foundation for compliance and credential tracking. Every addition or modification is handled with care to uphold the accuracy, performance, and quality our clients rely on.

Thank you for partnering with us to thoughtfully expand our platform to help our customers achieve their goals. We deeply value your partnership as we work together to support evolving firm practice and risk management needs.
