CPE Reporting Form Options

State Boards of Accountancy set their own rules for how Continuing Professional Education (CPE) must be reported. LCvista helps guide you, but requirements vary by State.

Follow the steps below to determine which of these three options applies to your user's specific jurisdictions.

Option 1: Board requires submission of a Board created form or on the NASBA Audit Service Site

  1. Navigate to a user's Compliance tab and select the appropriate jurisdiction tab
  2. Select the appropriate reporting period from the Reporting Period drop-down
  3. From this Compliance Summary page, download the prefilled form

Option 2: Board accepts LCvista's Compliance Detail Report or Certified Transcript

  1.  Navigate to a user's Compliance tab and select the appropriate jurisdiction tab.  Boards that have agreed to accept the LCvista Compliance Detail Report will typically display an icon to the right of the jurisdiction name on the Compliance Summary page
  2. Select the appropriate reporting period from the Reporting Period drop-down
  3. Click "View Details" to access the Compliance Detail page

4. From the top of the Compliance Detail page, click on the three dots to open the action menu

5. Select "Download certified PDF"

Option 3: Board requires CPE summary or line-by-line entry to be manually submitted directly on the Board website

  1.  Navigate to a user's Compliance tab and select the appropriate jurisdiction tab
  2. Select the appropriate reporting period from the Reporting Period drop-down
  3. Click "View Details" to access the Compliance Detail page

4. From the top of the Compliance Detail page, click on the three dots to open the action menu
