Export Poll and Social Q&A Data for a single session

After a session has ended, audience participation in Q&A, polling, team battles, and trivia battles can be downloaded and saved as a spreadsheet by moderators and admins. To export data for multiple sessions, see Bulk Export Poll and Social Q&A Data.

Please Note: We are unable to restore any data that is permanently deleted. Please use caution when deleting data from the site, and archive or hide wherever possible: Archive and Restore Event Sessions.

Export Polls and Social Q&A Data

  1. Sign into the session as a Moderator
  2. Click Session Settings
  3. Click Session Engagement Report (XLSX)

Data export format

The session report will be exported as a spreadsheet that includes Social Q&A data and the results of multiple-choice, open-ended, and numerical average poll questions. It is broken up into four worksheets: Responses by Poll, Poll Chart, Responses by Attendee, and Audience Q&A.

  • Responses by Poll shows aggregate polling data. 

  • Poll Chart contains the poll data in bar charts.

  • Responses by Attendee contains the individual poll responses for each attendee. Please see attached sample file titled Poll Responses By Attendee Example at the bottom of this article.

  • Audience Q&A lists all of the questions asked, who asked them, the number of upvotes, and some moderator actions taken.

Note: This report is available only upon request, as it grants moderators access to session engagement reports, including evaluation data.

Data export format

This report will add the attendee's evaluation data in addition to their polling and Q&A data. This data is sorted into two sheets: Evaluations and Polls and Audience Q&A. 

  • The Evaluations and Polls sheet displays each attendee's activity, evaluation responses, and poll answers.

  • The Audience Q&A sheet lists each question asked, the attendee who asked it, the number of upvotes, and some moderator actions taken.
