Conferences i/o can be used for multiple event types and uses: conferences, webinars, classroom-style events, hybrid, workshops, etc.. This article will give you an overview of the differences and how they can be structured:
Conference Style Events
Your attendees will then typically see a schedule (or listing) of all of the sessions, in date order, when they navigate to your dedicated URL (for example: acme.cnf.io). This "home page" therefore serves as the listing of your sessions, which users can then pick from to interact with.
Attendees will simply click on the session that they'd like to join from the home page. Once they have completed their interaction with that particular session, they must return to the home page to choose a different session to interact with. They can do so by either clicking the top logo or by choosing Home from the menu button.
Single Session
A single session is typically used for one-hour sessions, day-long sessions happening in the same room, webinars, etc..
When using a single session in CIO, you have the option to send attendees to the home page of your URL, or to the specific session. Learn more about how to access URLs to share with attendees here.
Concurrent Sessions
Breakout sessions that are scheduled for the same time to run concurrently can be set up in the event as well. These are listed alphabetically by default on the agenda and can be reordered. Learn more about session ordering here.
Attendees will just need to select and interact with the correct breakout session that they are in.
