Certificate Settings & Configuration contains settings to manage the email delivery of certificates and the program name of multi-session and combined certificates.
Program Name
When using combined session attendance certificates, the program name for the event on the certificate is set in the Program Information field.
The Program Name will populate the Program title field in Certificate Builder.
Email Settings
The certificate emails will come from certificates@conferences.io, and can be customized to appear to send from a different domain, address, or sender as needed. In case of any email deliverability issues, we recommend whitelisting the certificates@conferences.io sender.
- The Certificate Sender Name is the friendly name for the sender of the email
- The Reply-To Email Address is the email address that will be used as the recipient of a reply from this email
- The Email Subject Line is the subject of the email
- The Email Message Heading is the header of the body of the email
- The Body/Copy of Email Message is the content in the email body
Note: To avoid issues with certificates not sending or incorrect characters appearing on the certificate, please avoid using special characters in session names. If the apostrophe isn’t saving correctly, delete and re-add the character using the ' key on your keyboard. Additionally, it’s always a good idea to test the PDF and the email delivery.
You can always confirm that an email was sent by looking for the "Email Sent" timestamp on the Manage Attendance page; an example is shown below:
